Choplifter III is a side-scrolling action game developed and published by Ocean Software for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was released in North America in 1994 and in Europe in 1993. The game is the third installment in the Choplifter series and features improved graphics and gameplay compared to its predecessors. In the game, the player controls a helicopter pilot who must rescue hostages and transport them to safety while avoiding enemy fire and obstacles. The game includes a variety of different helicopters with different capabilities, and players must strategically choose the right one for each mission. The game also includes a level editor, allowing players to create their own custom levels to share with others.
