Captain America and the Avengers" is a side-scrolling beat 'em up arcade game developed and published by Data East in 1991. It was later ported to various consoles, including the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).The game features four playable characters: Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye, and Vision, who must battle their way through various levels filled with enemies and bosses, including Red Skull and Crossbones. The game also includes various power-ups and items that can be collected to help the player on their journey.

Players can choose to play solo or with a friend in co-op mode, and can also use special moves and team attacks to defeat enemies. The SNES version of the game was generally well-received for its faithful adaptation of the arcade game, although it did receive criticism for its lack of multiplayer options.
