Phantasy Star Collection is a compilation of classic role-playing games (RPGs) developed by SEGA for various platforms. The collection was first released in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) handheld console and was published by THQ in North America and SEGA in Japan and Europe. Phantasy Star Collection" includes three classic RPGs from the Phantasy Star series, which were originally released on the SEGA Master System and SEGA Genesis consoles in the 1980s and 1990s. Phantasy Star : Originally released in 1987, Phantasy Star is a pioneering RPG that features a deep and immersive sci-fi/fantasy storyline, turn-based combat, and a rich world to explore. Players assume the role of Alis Landale, a young warrior on a quest to avenge her brother's death and defeat the evil King Lassic.

Phantasy Star II : Released in 1989, Phantasy Star II is a direct sequel to the original game and takes place 1,000 years after the events of the first game. It features an improved graphics and gameplay system, with a more complex story and a larger cast of characters. Players embark on a journey to uncover the secrets behind the mysterious bio-monsters that threaten the future of the Algol star system.

Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom : Released in 1990, Phantasy Star III is a unique entry in the series that features a generational gameplay system, where players control different generations of heroes across multiple storylines. The game offers branching paths and multiple endings, providing a nonlinear gameplay experience.
