Maximum Force is a first-person light gun shooter arcade game released in 1997 by Atari Games. It features fast-paced, action-packed gameplay and utilizes a light gun controller for players to aim and shoot at various targets on-screen. Players assume the role of an elite law enforcement officer tasked with taking down terrorists and criminals in a variety of locations, including city streets, warehouses, and secret hideouts.
