X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse is an action role-playing game (ARPG) developed by Raven Software and published by Activision for various platforms, including PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable (PSP), Xbox, GameCube, and PC. It was released in 2005, following the success of the first X-Men Legends game.

The game is set in the Marvel Comics universe and features popular characters from the X-Men franchise, as well as other Marvel superheroes and supervillains. Players assemble a team of mutants, including fan-favorite characters like Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, and many others, to fight against the powerful mutant villain Apocalypse, who seeks to destroy the world. Players embark on an epic quest to stop Apocalypse and his minions, battling hordes of enemies, solving puzzles, and exploring a variety of environments along the way.

X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse features fast-paced action gameplay with role-playing elements, allowing players to level up their characters, customize their abilities, and unlock new powers and costumes. Players can also team up with friends in cooperative multiplayer mode, either locally or online, to tackle the game's challenges together.
