Hypnos Tower Walkthrough - Persona 1
The Hypnos Tower is a timed dungeon that is part of the Snow Queen Quest Route in Persona 1. You can access the Hypnos Tower through the door that appears inside of the Fencing Club, once you enter a 3 hour timer will begin and you will not be able to leave until the dungeon is complete.
In total you can collect 3 Mirror Shards from this dungeon and a single Ambrosia. You will get two Mirror Shards for pinching people and waking them from their dreams when you're in the Dream World and one Mirror Shard for beating the dungeon. After you pinch the people to wake them up in the Dream World you will have to return to them and speak with them inside the dungeon to collect the Mirror Shards.
Dream World is the only gimmick of this dungeon, aside from this unique floor the dungeon is pretty straight forward.

3F: Armor Shop, Weapon Shop, Dream World Entrance and Sleeping People
Dream World: You will find numerous people throughout this dungeon that you can pinch to wake them up in the real world. Only pinch Tamaki and Tadashi as well as Principal Ooishi and Vice-Principal Hanya. These two groups of people will give you Mirror Shards when you talk to them on the 3F after you awaken them. Make sure you talk with them on the 3F to collect the Mirror Shards!

Dream World Map
While navigating through Hypnos Tower 3F you'll find numerous people sleeping on the floor that you can interact with. Nothing can be done about these people until you access the Dream World which is in the northeastern portion of the third floor. Inside the Dream World you can see what these people are dreaming about and also wake them from their dreams.
Dream World Locations:
East Room: Nurse Natsumi is dreaming about her boyfriend and (poorly) cooking for him. Waking her up is optional.
South Room: Principal Ooishi and Vice-Principal Hanya are having a shared dream. Pinch one of them to wake them from their dream. Return to these two and talk to them in Hypnos Tower 3F for a Mirror Shard.
Northeast Room: Tamaki and Tadashi are having a shared dream. Pinch them to wake them up. Return to these two and speak with them in Hypnos Tower 3F for a Mirror Shard.
Northwest Room: Kumi Hirose is found in this room, if you pinch her and wake her up you'll make the boss of this dungeon stronger.
Make sure that after you complete the Dream World you backtrack through Hypnos Tower 3F and collect the Mirror Shards that are available.

You will encounter the final boss of this dungeon on Hypnos Tower 8F. As you could probably already guess the name of this final boss is Hypnos, much like the tower we just climbed. The difficulty of this fight will go up or down depending on a few factors - if this is the first or last tower that you're challenging and whether or not you pinched Kumi in the Dream World.
If you pinched Kumi in the Dream World then Hypnos will gain 10 levels for this fight. Choosing Hypnos Tower as the first dungeon you conquer will make the final boss level 31 (he'll be 41 if you pinch Kumi). If Hypnos Tower is the final dungeon you're beating then Hypnos will be level 38 instead (48 if you pinch Kumi).
All in all this is a pretty easy fight either way, Hypnos will absorb Fire, Wind, Electric and Blast damage so don't use any of them on him. He'll also be heavily resistant to Gun damage so avoid using those weapons on him too. Unload on him with your strongest attacks that are not these elements and he'll go down fairly quick.
That's all there is to this dungeon! If you beat Thanatos Tower first then you'll receive an Ambrosia for beating Hypnos Tower - otherwise you'll get no Ambrosia. For beating this dungeon you will be rewarded with 1 Mirror Shard and possibly one Ambrosia; don't forget to collect your other two Mirror Shards from Toro in the Cafeteria once you're back in the Ice Castle too.
