Jumping Geezer Side Quest - Persona 2: Innocent Sin Guides

The Jumping Geezer rumor can be started immediately after you visit Goketsuji during your exploration of Mt. Katatsumuri. Once you watch the scenes at Goketsuji during which Yukki is given the broken camera you'll be ready to start this quest. You'll find the Hiker that gives this quest outside of Mt. Katatsumuri on the World Map (pictured above).

In order to complete this quest you will need to go all the way back to Goketsuji inside of Mt. Katatsumuri. The Jumping Geezer only spawns in the section of Mt. Katatsumuri that leads to the summit; in other words the section of this dungeon after Goketsuji. Yes, that means they expect you to run all the way outside the dungeon to start this quest then all the way back inside to do it... Then all the way out again to turn it in.

Maybe I am just unlucky but I hunted around the first part of Mt. Katatsumuri for about an hour and never saw the Jumping Geezer... Once I went past Goketsuji and towards the summit I encountered him during my second battle. I feel sorry for those of you who took the maze route up the mountain because having to trek through that area 4 times is brutal.
