Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA 2nd is a rhythm-based music game developed by Sega and Crypton Future Media for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) handheld gaming console. It was released in Japan in 2010 as a direct sequel to the original Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA game. In Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA 2nd, players can once again interact with various vocaloid characters, including Hatsune Miku, Rin, Len, Luka, and others, as they perform a wide range of J-pop songs. The game features a variety of gameplay modes, including a rhythm-based gameplay where players must hit notes in time with the music using the PSP's buttons or touch screen, as well as customization options for characters, costumes, and accessories.

The game includes an extensive song list featuring a diverse range of genres, from pop and rock to electronic and more. Players can unlock new songs, modules (outfits), and accessories by completing challenges and achieving high scores in the rhythm-based gameplay. The game also offers a high degree of replayability, as players can aim for high scores, challenge themselves with harder difficulty levels, and compete with friends in multiplayer mode.
