Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is a tactical role-playing video game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) gaming console. It is an updated version of the original Final Fantasy Tactics, which was released for the PlayStation in 1997. The War of the Lions was released in Japan in 2007, and later in other regions, such as North America and Europe, in 2007 and 2008, respectively.

The War of the Lions features a complex and engaging storyline set in the kingdom of Ivalice, where political intrigue, war, and betrayal abound. Players assume the role of Ramza Beoulve, a young nobleman caught in the midst of a conflict that threatens to tear the kingdom apart. As Ramza, players recruit and command a diverse cast of characters with unique abilities and skills, as they navigate battles on isometric grid-based maps. The gameplay of Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions revolves around turn-based tactical combat, where players strategically position their characters on the battlefield, considering factors such as terrain, range, and character abilities, to defeat enemies.
