Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days is a tactical role-playing game (RPG) developed by Nippon Ichi Software for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) handheld gaming console. It is an enhanced version of the original Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories, which was released for the PlayStation 2. Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days was published by NIS America and released in North America in 2009 and in Europe in 2010. The game follows the story of Adell, a young human hero on a quest to defeat the Overlord Zenon, who has turned his family and the entire world into demons. Adell is joined by a cast of colorful and quirky characters as he journeys through the Netherworld, battling enemies and overcoming challenges in a turn-based tactical combat system.

Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days features deep and strategic gameplay, with a wide range of character classes, abilities, and customization options. Players can level up their characters, customize their equipment, and engage in complex battles on isometric grid-based maps. The game also introduces the "Dark World" system, where players can travel to alternate dimensions to defeat powerful enemies and unlock new content. In addition to the main story mode, Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days offers various additional features and modes, such as the Item World, where players can dive into randomly generated dungeons to level up their items; the Dark Assembly, where players can influence the game's world and story through political maneuvering; and the Land of Carnage, a challenging post-game area with powerful enemies.
