Breath of Fire 3 (PSP) Guides & Walkthroughs
This is my index page for Breath of Fire 3, a game for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). If I have any available guides, codes, tips, tricks, walkthroughs, CWcheats or Action Replay Codes you'll find links to them on this page. As far as I know the CWcheats will not work on a physical PSP device, only on the PSP Emulators. You should also keep in mind that when choosing cheats for your game you'll want to select the right region as well as the right version.
Breath of Fire III is the third installment in the series and was released first on Play Station 1 in 1997 (Japan) and 1998 (US/Europe). Future versions of this game were released on the PSP in 2005 and 2006. This is the first Breath of Fire game in the series to feature 3D environments as well as the Master System, which allows you to specialize and customize your characters more deeply.

Dragon Genes Locations and Guide
In Breath of Fire III Ryu's Dragon Transformations are done by combining Dragon Genes that you collect throughout the game. Some of the Dragon Genes are given to you as the plot progresses and others are hidden in different areas of the game.

Master Locations and Guide
Much like the Shaman system in BoF 2, BoF 3 has a Master system where you'll pick certain characters to apprentice under Masters. These Masters teach you different skills, most of which can't be acquired else where and they also effect which stats go up when you're leveling up.

Dragon Transformations and Guide
As with all the Breath of Fire games, Ryu's special power is to transform into a Dragon in battle. This installment of the series does things in a really unique way, however, for this game you'll have to collect Dragon Genes throughout the game and when you transform during battle, combine them to determine which dragon you transform into.
