Pterodomini - Borderlands 3 Farming Guides

Pterodomini is a Crew Challenge that you'll find in The Blastplains, a zone on the planet Gehenna which is part of the Bounty of Blood DLC for Borderlands 3. In order to reach Pterodomini you'll have to go to the location you see marked on my map above, it's at the southern end of The Blastplains nearby a small island disconnected from the rest of the map.

You'll find a teleporter in the area that will open up a portal and allow you to travel to this island. Pterodomini flies around this island and is an aerial boss that you'll have to shoot down. I give this warning in the video too but it's worth repeating here; make sure you kill Pterodomini over solid ground or you'll only be able to claim the loot from the boss from the Item Recovery terminal on The Sanctuary.

As far as loot goes, Dowsing Rod (Vladof AR) is the only weapon on Pterodomini's dedicated loot list. This item is not unique to Pterodomini and can drop off of other enemies throughout this DLC as well.
