Killavolt - Borderlands 3 Farming Guides

Location: Lectra City on Promethea

Drops: 9-Volt (Dahl SMG), The Monarch (Vladof AR), The Transformer (Shield)

Killavolt is found in Lectra City, a zone on the planet Promethea and is part of the Kill Killavolt side quest. The fight with Killavolt is pretty straight forward, his health locks occasionally and he will teleport to a different location but aside from that fighting Killavolt is the same as fighting any of the other bandits with a shield. Shoot him in the back/sides to win!

If you were to rank all of the best farms in Borderlands 3, Killavolt is most likely in the top 5 or top 10 of that list. He is not only an extremely easy boss to kill and easy to farm since the save/respawn terminal is so close but he drops more legendaries than most bosses/nameds do.

As far as loot goes, most people farm Killavolt for The Transformer item that he drops. This is a shield which grants the wearer immunity to Shock damage and not only that but Shock damage will restore your shields! Killavolt also has a higher drop chance for the 9-Volt (Dahl SMG) and The Monarch (Vladof AR).
