Wild 9 is a 2.5D side-scrolling platformer developed by Shiny Entertainment and published by Interplay Entertainment. It was released on September 30, 1998. In the game, players control Wex Major, the leader of a group called the Wild 9, on a mission to rescue his kidnapped friends and defeat an evil dictator named Karn. Wex wields the Rig, a powerful weapon that can manipulate gravity and interact with the environment in various ways, such as grabbing enemies or solving puzzles.
