Swimming Festival

Summer 1st
10am - 2:50pm
At Mineral Beach

+5 Affection with any Villager you speak to
+500 Affection with any courtable Girl you speak to

(If you win) +20 Affection with all attending Villagers
(If you win) +500 Affection with all attending courtable Girls

The Swimming Festival is one of the more important Festivals for you to participate in during Back to Nature since your first time winning you'll receive a Power Berry <Add Links>. I highly recommend saving prior to attending the Festival that way incase you lose you can reset the game and try again until you win the Power Berry.

As for the minigame, it's pretty straight forward. You need to spam the X button until the face that's above your avatar frowns at which point you need to press the Triangle button to give yourself a break from swimming.

 

Chicken Festival

Summer 7th
10am - 2:50pm
At the Town Square

+5 Affection with any Villager you speak to
+20 Affection with every Villager if your Chicken wins

The day prior to the Festival you will want to take one of your chickens to Rick if you plan to enter it into the festival. The higher the heart level on the chicken the better its chances of winning. If your chicken wins it'll shit gold, no really, it'll lay Golden Eggs for you from now on.

Alternatively you can show up to this festival with no intention of participating too - just to talk to the villagers and pretty women for Affection Points.

 

Tomato Festival

Summer 12th
10am - 2:50pm
At the Town Square

+5 Affection with any Villager you speak to
+500 Affection with any courtable Girl you speak to

(If you win) +20 Affection with all attending Villagers
(If you win) +500 Affection with all attending courtable Girls

Let me start off by saying that the team you choose to join for this Festival has no affect whatsoever on the Affection points that are earned. When you arrive at this Festival, speak with the person whom you want to team up with last - once you decline to join someone's team they won't ask you a second time.

Participating in this Festival is rather straight forward, hold down Triangle until you have a clearing to throw your Tomato, then throw your Tomato with X.

 

Cow Festival

Summer 20th
10am - 2:50pm
At Yodel Ranch

+5 Affection with any Villager you speak to
+500 Affection with any courtable Girl you speak to

(If you win) +20 Affection with all attending Villagers
(If you win) +500 Affection with all attending courtable Girls

Much like with the Chicken Festival you can enter your own Cow into this Festival and if it wins, it'll start producing Gold Milk for you. Your odds of winning are increased depending on how many hearts the cow you entered into the competition has, just like the Chicken Festival prior.

 

Fireworks Display

Summer 24th
6pm - 7:50pm
At Mineral Beach

+5 Affection with any Villager you speak to
+500 Affection with any courtable Girl you speak to
