The day before this Festival you're asked by Priest Carter (Check name) whether or not you'd like to participate in the Festival. If you agree, he'll give you the Ocarina to play during it. Otherwise you show up and just watch. Participating in this Festival has no effect on the affection that is earned from the attendies.

+5 Affection with any Villager you speak to
+500 Affection with any courtable Girl you speak to
For this Festival you are able to bring an ingredient and add it to the pot; the majority of ingredients you add don't have any effect except different dialogue with people you speak to. If you add something that doesn't go with the hot pot the villagers will complain about the taste or if you add something good they'll talk it up. Or, you can go full serial killer on everyone and throw a Poisonous Mushroom in for a Gameover.
Moon Viewing Festival
Fall 13th
6pm - 11:50pm
Top of Mount Moon
This Festival has no effect on the Affection of any girls throughout the village, even the one you take with you to the Festival.
Sheep Festival
Fall 21st
10am - 2:50pm
At Yodel Ranch
+5 Affection with any Villager you speak to
+500 Affection with any courtable Girl you speak to
(If you win) +20 Affection with all attending Villagers
(If you win) +500 Affection with all attending courtable Girls
Much like the Chicken and Cow Festival in Summer the day prior to this Festival you're asked if you'd like to enter one of the animals on your farm. With Sheep, you'll need them to have a full coat of wool (meaning you should not use the Harvest Sprites or Wool Shears on your animals leading up to this Festival), it's a bit of a pain in the butt.
However much like the other Festivals as well, if you win your Sheep will begin to reward you with Gold Wool when you give them their buzz cut. On top of all the bonus affection you get from the villagers and girls who attend the Festival.
