Edea Card - FF8 Guide

The Edea Card can be acquired from Edea herself who is found at Edea's House during Disc 3. Out of all the cards you've had to obtain thus far in the game, Edea's Card will most likely be the most difficult due to the rules of Centra.

Centra Rules have Same, Plus and Random all mixed in which are the three worst rule sets you can possibly imagine. It's highly recommended that you try to abolish one or two of these rules (especially Random) prior to playing her for real. Edea's Card will Card Mod into 3 Royal Crown items which on their own teach a GF the Mag+60% Ability. If you plan to use the Royal Crown item on a GF, the only GF that learns Mag+60% naturally is Bahamut. I wouldn't recommend you teach any GFs this ability as there's plenty of more useful abilities for you to use.

You can further refine the Royal Crown items into 10 Mag Ups per Royal Crown using Forbid-Med RF or 20 Status Atk items using GFAbl Med-RF. I recommend you take the (Forbid Med-RF) route and use the Mag Up to boost a character's stats.
