Ancient Dino Region - Digimon World 1

The Ancient Dino Region is a unique place that you only get access to once you have recruited Centarumon to your city. When you first enter this new map you will encounter Tyrannomon who is guarding the area. Once you beat him, you'll have access to the rest of the zone.

As Tyrannomon and other dinosaurs will explain to you, this area is split into two different parts. You have the Glacial Zone where time moves half as fast and the Speedy Zone where time will move twice as fast. At the entrance of the Speedy Zone you'll meet Tyrannomon a second time (he will warn you before you proceed).

 

Tyrannomon

Requirement: N/A

Recruiting Tyrannomon means going through the 'story' elements of this area. When you first arrive you will meet Tyrannomon, he will challenge you to a fight which you must win to advance into this map. Once you beat him you will meet him a second time at the entrance to the Speedy Zone.

Inside the Speedy Zone you'll be looking for the screen with the giant skeleton cage that you run through (when you enter keep going north and you will find it). You can find a secret exit on the left side of this screen which will take you to a Meteormon. Talk to Meteormon then return to Tyrannomon and speak with him. Tyrannomon will join your city during this final conversation.

 

Nanimon

Requirement: Solve the story events at a specific location then return to find Nanimon

Nanimon is a unique Digimon in this game, he can be found in multiple areas throughout the world and will reward players who find him at the first and last locations. Once you find him at every location he will join your city. The first spot that most people get Nanimon is in the same location Meteormon was. Once you take out Meteormon leave the area entirely and come back to find Nanimon.

All Nanimon Locations
1. Ancient Dino Region in the same area as Meteormon.
2. Ogre Fortress, found in the boss room where we battled Ogremon.
3. Leomon's Ancestor's Cave in Drill Tunnel, search the area where you get the tablet.
4. Toy Town, in the boss room.
5. Factorial Town, in the sewers north of where Numemon is found.
