Quest #136 EXTERMINATE! - Hermany

Quest Requirements: Defeat 3 Metal Slimes in the same battle (do this 3 times)

Quest Pre-Requirements: Starflight Express; This is a DLC Quest

Reward: Metal Slime Shield; Mini Medal when repeated

This quest is found by inspecting a bookshelf inside of a small cottage on a raised piece of land in the Hermany region. If you've forgotten where Hermany is, it's southeast of Batsureg, shown on my world map below. In addition to this quest you'll also be able to get Side Quest #134 from this same location.

For this quest you will need to defeat 3 Metal Slime enemies in the same battle. You'll need to do this not once, not twice, but a total of three times! I don't know any location where you can more commonly find Metal Slimes than on Slime Hill so that's where we're going to go for this quest.

If you've never been to Slime Hill, you can find it by using the Starflight Express to reach a cave on a raised piece of land by Angel Falls. For an exact location and guidance getting here I would recommend using my Side Quest #055 page.

The Metal Slime enemies will very commonly run from you during battle and basically all of your attacks will only deal 1 damage each to them. Luckily the metal slime enemies all have low HP so you only need to land a few attacks to defeat them - or - you can cheese things a bit and defeat them in one shot with critical attacks.... Which as you may imagine is what I recommend.

Thunder Thrust (Spear) and Hatchet Man (Axe) are the two best abilities for defeating Metal Slime enemies. When you crit a Metal Slime it hits them for full damage and instantly defeats them. Since these two abilities have a significantly higher than average crit chance they're amazing for slime huntin'!
