Quest #023 Research Assistant - Stornway Castle

Quest Requirements: Bring the man 3 Magic Waters and check the red treasure chest in the middle of Stornway Castle's treasure room.

Reward: 3 Seeds of Sorcery

In order to accept this quest you'll need to complete the first one given by Earnan, Quest #008 Don't Cry Over Spilt Ink. All it takes is a single Magic Water, which can be purchased in Porth Llaffan or any town later in the story. You'll need three of them for this quest too! For directions to Earnan click on the link above to Quest #008.

Aside from the 3 Magic Waters you need for this quest you'll also need to visit a previously opened chest in the Stornway Castle Treasure Room. For those who forget how to get to the treasure room you'll need to first go to L2 of Stornway Castle, where the King is found. Behind him are two staircases, go up either one of these and through the door to find yourself standing in close to the same place I was in the screen shot below.

The treasure room is northeast of where you exit the throne room and is easy to find once you've made it this far. Inside of the treasure room you'll want to search the red chest in the center that's sitting ontop of the raised platform. When doing so you'll find a crumbled note attached to a false bottom, this is what the old man is looking for. Return to him with the 3 Magic Waters and this Crumbled Note to complete the quest.
