Tonic Trouble is a 3D platformer video game released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. It was developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft. In Tonic Trouble, players assume the role of Ed, a bumbling astronaut who crash-lands on a strange planet called Grool. The planet is overrun by the evil ruler, Grool, who has accidentally unleashed a substance called "Elixir of Fun" that turns living creatures into monsters.

Players must guide Ed through various levels filled with puzzles, enemies, and platforming challenges to collect the components needed to create an antidote to the Elixir of Fun and restore peace to Grool. Along the way, Ed encounters a variety of quirky characters and utilizes a range of gadgets and abilities to overcome obstacles.
