Pokemon Leaf Green Wild Modifier Codes: Names that begin with 'X' (USA)

This page contains Wild Pokemon Modifier Gameshark cheat codes for Pokemon Leaf Green (USA). If you're playing on an emulator you can usually input codes very easily by accessing a tab off the top of the toolbar. Anyone playing on a physical Gameboy will need to purchase a physical Gameshark device to use these codes.

The codes on this page will change the type of Wild Pokemon you encounter out in the field while leaving the Pokemon's stats/level/attributes the same as the Pokemon your encounter. I've personally tested many of these codes and can confirm that they work. However, I have a simple cavaet to that... After using the codes on this page and deleting them/turn them off, the wild pokemon you encounter out on the field will still be altered. To fix this, save (regularly or with a save state) and then close out your emulator/turn off your game. When you load it back up, everything will be back to normal.
