D-Pad: Move Mega Man on the battle grid or in the overworld
A Button: Confirm selection, talk to characters, use Battle Chips in battle
B Button: Cancel selection, speed up dialogue, exit menu, run in the overworld
L Button: Hold to open the menu during battle
R Button: Hold to use Rapid Fire or charge buster shots
Start: Pause the game, open main menu
Select: Access Navi Customizer in the overworld

 

During battle:

B Button: Switch between Battle Chips
