A: Jump
B: Pick up and place Mini Marios, Hammer, or Key
L/R: Rotate Mini Mario

During the Construction Zone levels, the controls are slightly different:

D-Pad or Control Stick: Move cursor
A: Select or place object
B: Cancel or remove object
