D-Pad: Move the cursor, change the direction of the character
A Button: Confirm, select menu items, talk to people
B Button: Cancel, return to previous screen
L Button: Rotate the camera counterclockwise
R Button: Rotate the camera clockwise
Select Button: Open the main menu
Start Button: Pause the game

 

Battle Controls:

D-Pad: Move the cursor
A Button: Select the command, confirm action
B Button: Cancel, return to previous screen
L Button: Move the cursor quickly to the left
R Button: Move the cursor quickly to the right
Select Button: Change the display on the bottom screen
