Controls

D-Pad: Move left or right, crouch down
A button: Jump, swim faster underwater
B button: Run, pick up/throw barrels, hold to perform a team-up move with Diddy or Dixie
L button: Swap between Diddy and Dixie, while holding a barrel use it to perform a cartwheel attack
R button: Hold to perform a rolling move, while swimming in water use it to swim faster
Select button: Pause menu
Start button: Start menu, skip cutscenes

 

Additionally, here are the team-up moves:

 

With Diddy:

Roll Attack: Hold B and press Down
Helicopter Spin: Hold B and press Up

 

With Dixie:

Pony Tail Twirl: Hold B and press Down
Double Jump: Hold B and press Up

 

During certain levels, Dixie and Diddy can also perform special abilities by standing on their respective buttons. These abilities include the ability to climb walls and the ability to fly using barrels.
