B button: Attack with whip
R button: Use secondary weapons
L button: Defend with shield
Start button: Pause game

Select button: Open the card menu
D-pad left and right: Navigate the card menu
A button: Select a card
B button: Return to the previous screen

 

Dual Set-Up: R button + B button

Double Jump: Press A Button While In Air

Slide: Down + A Button

Back Dash: Double tap Left or Right on D-Pad

Card System: Press and hold L Button, then press R Button

 

Sub-Weapons:

Up + R Button: Axe
Down + R Button: Holy Water
Left + R Button: Cross
Right + R Button: Book of Solomon

 

Sword Cards:

Mars Card: Flame Whip (Down, Down-Right, Right + B)
Salamander Card: Fireball (Down, Down-Right, Right + B)
Mandragora Card: Poisonous Gas (Down, Down-Right, Right + B)
Cockatrice Card: Stone (Down, Down-Right, Right + B)
Manticore Card: Poison Needle (Down, Down-Right, Right + B)
Minotaur Card: Crushing Stone (Down, Down-Right, Right + B)
