D-Pad or Left Analog Stick - Move character or cursor
A Button - Jump, fire weapon, confirm menu selections
B Button - Perform melee attack, cancel menu selections
L Button - Nothing
R Button - Lock onto target
Start Button - Pause, access menu
Select Button - Nothing

 

Basic Actions:

Move the D-Pad or Left Analog Stick: Move the character or cursor.
Press A: Jump, fire the equipped weapon, or confirm menu selections.
Press B: Perform a melee attack or cancel menu selections.

 

Combat:

Hold R: Lock onto a target.
Press R: Switch between locked targets.
Press A while holding R: Fire a guided missile.
Press A while jumping: Perform a jump attack.
Press B while jumping: Perform a downward strike.

 

Equipment and Vehicles:

Hold A and press Left or Right on the D-Pad: Use a gadget.

 

Movement:

Press A while running: Perform a slide.

 

Menu Navigation:

Use the D-Pad or Left Analog Stick to highlight menu options.
Press A to confirm menu selections.
Press B to cancel menu selections.
Press Start to pause the game and access the menu.
