Time Stalkers Guides and Walkthroughs

Time Stalkers is a role-playing video game that was released in 1999. It was developed by Climax Entertainment and published by Sega for the Sega Dreamcast console. The game follows the story of Sword, a young adventurer who finds himself trapped in a mysterious tower known as "Dungeon of Time". Inside the tower, Sword encounters a variety of unique characters and creatures from different time periods, including past, present, and future. As Sword progresses through the tower, he must recruit allies, battle enemies, and solve puzzles in order to uncover the secrets of the tower and find a way back home.

Time Stalkers features traditional turn-based combat, exploration, and dungeon-crawling gameplay. Players navigate through randomly generated dungeons, battling enemies in turn-based combat, and collecting items and equipment to improve their characters' abilities. The game also includes a unique "item-based" character progression system, where characters level up by using items and equipment rather than gaining experience points through battles. One of the notable features of Time Stalkers is its "Dreamcast Virtual Memory System" (VMU) integration, which allows players to capture and train virtual pets called "Digisoul" on their VMU and use them as allies in battles within the game. This unique feature adds an additional layer of gameplay and customization options for players to experiment with.

Time Stalkers received mixed to positive reviews for its unique gameplay mechanics, intriguing story, and colorful graphics. However, it was also criticized for its repetitive dungeon design, lack of depth in character development, and uneven pacing. Despite its mixed reception, Time Stalkers has gained a cult following among RPG enthusiasts for its distinctive gameplay and memorable characters.
