Darkhollow Basilisk Meat Farming Locations

Darkhollow Basilisk Meat is one of the more uncommon items used in Baking that was added during the Depths of Darkhollow expansion. There are only two zones with Basilisks in DoDH, Stoneroot Falls and Undershore. There's one more place Basilisks can be found, but it's an instance so I am excluding it.

In addition to only being found in two zones, the Basilisks in these zones are few in numbers and very spread out. To make matters even worse, Darkhollow Basilisk Meat is not a very common drop from them. Putting all of this together, one can only conclude that farming this item suuuuuuuuuuuccckkksss.

I personally farmed this item in Undershore and I only farmed the areas around the port in from Guild Hall. What I did was every so often I cleared this area then went AFK for awhile until the basilisks repopped. Sometimes I spent hours farming without seeing a single piece of meat drop, at which point I typically left the zone and popped in once a day from the Guild Hall, cleared the basilisks and then left.
