In Defense of Health HA Guide

In Defense of Health is given to you by Kerath Punox in Sul Vius: Demiplane of Life and takes place in Plane of Health (click on the crystal in Demiplane of Life to zone into the HA). Much like with all of the other Heroic Adventures, this one has multiple variations that you can complete.

Unlike the other Heroic Adventures though, each variation of In Defense of Health is radically different. You start the mission in different places, have all different task objectives and, of course, some missions are easier than others. Personally, the version of this quest that gives you the whistle and starts you in the center of the zone I abandon each time and request a different one.

The reason for that is the final part of the mission that has you summon the guards with the whistle to defeat the hulk creatures is really dumb and buggy. Sometimes I don't get task credit from defeating the hulks and I have had to abandon the mission and accept it again multiple times. Additionally I feel that summoning the guards is tedious and annoying anyway - so that's why I always drop this mission for a different version.

 

In Defense of Health HA Version 1

With this version of the quest you will begin in the northeastern portion of the map nearby Lashun Novashine. You'll need to defeat enemies going in a counter clockwise route around the northern portion of the zone until you find yourself at Sara Eggers who is involved in the final step of the task.

1. Speak with Lashun Novashine
2. Kill invaders from Plane of Decay 0/7
3. Intercept Attack Orders being delivered to the front lines by courier 0/3 (defeat Bubonian Courier's and loot Marching Orders)
4. Thin the ranks of invaders from Plane of Decay 0/8
5. Give the Marching Orders of Decay or Sara Eggers 0/3
6. Open the Chest

In Defense of Health HA Version 2

For this version of the task you start in the central portion of the zone near the big crystal; the same location where you zone into Plane of Health from Plane of Tranquility. This is one of two versions that start you at this location, the other task that starts you here is the one I recommend you abandon and avoid. You can tell these two tasks apart because this one doesn't give you the whistle & the first step does not require you to speak with Lashun Novashine.

1. Defeat approaching invaders (enemies around the center of the zone)
2. Destroy the enemy's supplies (in the small pit southeast of the central Plane of Health area)
3. Kill

 

In Defense of Health HA Version 3

This is one of two versions of the task that start you in the western portion of the zone. Really simple task, literally all you need to do is kill every enemy you see going north and remember to loot the infectious weapons (Spoiled Whips) that drop. After you do enough killing the task will update and tell you to kill 5 commander enemies, which are at the northern most part of western Plane of Health. Once they're dead, return the Spoiled Whips to Lashun and open the chest!

2. Kill enemy invaders from Plane of Decay 0/8
3. Loot infectious weapons from the dead invaders from the Plane of Decay 0/6
4. Crush the Plane of Decay Field Commanders 0/5
5. Deliver 6 Spoiled Whips to Lashun 0/6
5. Open the Chest

 

In Defense of Health HA Version 4

You begin in the western portion of the zone for this Plane of Health mission and the first thing you need to do is travel north to the Ballistas which are near the Sul Vius: Demiplane of Life zone in. You actually don't need to defeat and of the invaders that are between you and the Ballistas - they're not required for this quest.

All you need to do for this task is defeat the Ballistas then the Commanders to the east.

1. Destroy the ballistas being used against the Plane of Health 0/5
2. Destroy the commanders directing the attack upon Plane of Health 0/5
3. Speak with Lashun Novashine
4. Open the Chest

 

In Defense of Health HA Version 5

You'll begin this task around the north central portion of the Plane of Health. Speak with Lashun Novashine to be given the Vial of Healing Salve, use that on the Injured Overseers after you clear out the nearby enemies then head northwest to the area outside of Sul Vius: Demiplane of Life's zoneline. Here you will find many weapons racks which you'll want to use your 'Open' ability on to destroy them.

Once you're done return to Lashun, give him the Vial of Healing Salve and open the chest to complete the quest.

1. Speak to Lashun Novashine
2. Rescue the injured overseers (use the Vial of Healing Salve he gives you on them)
3. Destroy Weapon Racks
4. Return Vial of Healing Salve to Lashun Novashine
5. Open the Chest
