Malkidiv U`Ycionus GoD Pottery Quests

Malkidiv U`Ycionus is found in a room that's beneath the deck in the southwestern portion of the ship. For those of you having trouble finding him you can use my map above or the ingame Find feature to locate him.

If you're unfamiliar with these GoD Tradeskill quests they're really easy. Basically all you need to do is hail the NPC and follow through with his dialogue and craft 100 of each item that he tells you to craft. The first item on the list of stuff to craft is 'Wayfarer Plate'.

For this item you'll need a Kiln. The closest Kiln to Malkidiv is to the south through the door and back out onto the deck of the ship. Then you just go left and the Kiln will be right there. If you're using EQtraders at the same time for this quest do note that you don't have to turn items in one by one anymore... You can hand Malkidiv full stacks.

After you've made 100 Wayfarer Plates and turned them all in you'll get the materials for the next item, Wayfarer Pots. The Pots are also made with the Kiln... Such an annoying run! These should all be straight forward enough for you to do and figure out on your own, worst case scenario if you're new to Tradeskills use my GoD Baking Tradeskill Quest Guide. That goes over many more details that this one doesn't.

Random Tip: For those who don't already know holding down Ctrl will allow you to separate an item from a stack of items. This will greatly speed up parts of the Tradeskilling process.

Once you finish with the Pots you're onto Wayfarers Mugs - but the process is a bit more complicated and annoying this time around. What you have to do is use the Clay and Water you get at the Pottery Wheel that's behind Malkidiv. This will give you an Unfired Wayfarers Mug. You'll then want to take this mug to the Kiln that's outside and combine it with the Wayfarer Mug Seal that you were given.

Any left over Wayfarer Mug Seals that you have destroy each time you turn in the Wayfarer Mugs to Malkidiv. Otherwise he won't give you any more items.

Finally, much to our dismay the final item that you have to make for this quest also requires us to go back and forth between the Pottery Wheel and the Kiln. You will have to repeat the entire process over again for Wayfarer Arrows Shafts. Combine the Water, Clay and Dye in the Kiln and then take the Unfired Arrow Shafts to the Kiln with the Mold pattern Malkidiv gave you as well.

After you finish crafting and turning in all the Wayfarer Arrow Shafts don't forget to hail Malkidiv U`Ycionus and say 'recipes' to get your final reward for this quest. A screen shot of all the recipes that you'll get is found below.
