Crystal Caverns - Bottom of The Pit Camp Guide

One of the only good camps in all of Crystal Caverns is found at the very bottom of the pit you end up near upon zoning into the zone. The main reason I chose this pit and the area surrounding is because there is a chance to have 4 nameds spawn in just the local area. You of course won't be able to pull all of them from one spot but with a little bit of moving around you can can get some really good loot farming going on. Also there is a named here called Foreman Rixact that drops Rixact's Gear of Crushing. It's an attuneable aug that is/was best in game during Rain of Fear content.

Below is a short list of the different nameds you'll be able to kill from this camp. You'll of course need a seriously good group to even think about doing all of them at once. Also it is very worth noting that the entire bottom of the pit area is a giant cluster of mobs and can become extremely frustrating extremely fast.

As I mentioned earlier about the aug Foreman Rixact drops, that is the entire reason I chose this camp over any other camp in Crystal Caverns. Some of the goodies you will get here are that Augmentation from Foreman Rixact and also the orcs of Crystal Caverns have a collectible line unique to them that will yield goodies that will sell amongst other things just as Dreadmotes and Fear Touched armor as well as the other Attuneable pieces.

While this camp can be a nuisance I strongly recommend trying to find a group here or setting one up locally. This zone has high traffic of people doing the collections or Partisan/Mercenary chains. Chances are you will get lucky and have someone join up with you for awhile while they are doing tasks. Then you can lure them in with your charm and become life long EQ group buddies!
