The first part of this level is pretty fun because you're going to be running a complete circle and destroying tons of enemies as you do it! When the mission begins grab the Double-barrelled Shotgun to your left and continue straight towards the large buildings that are in front of you. On your way to these buildings you'll find a Nailgun too.

You'll find a Proximity Gun inside of the first room of the building that you enter. Right next to this gun is a large switch that doesn't really stand out or make itself known, a picture of it is shown below. This switch is the most important thing that you need to remember to hit as we're going through this building. In the very next room you'll find a Quad Damage which you'll want to make sure you get too.

Make sure you press this switch to open the shutters down into the mine!

After pressing the switch grab the Quad Damage and continue your loop around the facility. In the next large open area you'll find the Grenade Launcher and Empathy Shields. When you reach the end of your loop you'll find a Rocket Launcher spawn, after that you'll go down the dirt ramp and into the mining shaft.

Follow the ramp down in the mining shaft until you get to the first landing, wait for the rock to roll down behind you and use it to reach the +100 Health crate. Keep going deeper into the mine and grab Secret #1 as you go down. Make sure you avoid the rocks that collapse or you'll get one shot by them.

Immediately after Secret #1 you'll find a fork in the path, the left path takes you to a dead end with an explosive box and some computers. Blow up the box and then abscond from the room as the rocks collapse in. Return to where you blew up the box and you'll find a Laser Cannon in the new dead end. If you grab it quickly you can get it and get out before the rock overhead falls down and cuts off this spawn.

Before you leave this area make sure you get Secret #2. Continue down the linear path through the mine until you reach a large pit with some lava below. If you want to jump across and grab the armor you can, you'll have to run across the railing and jump to reach it. Otherwise, continue down to the bottom where you'll find a Shambler and the Silver Keycard.

Grab the Silver Keycard and then press the button down here to call the elevator. Ride it all the way back to the top and use your Silver Keycard on the door to find yourself back in the mining facility from earlier. Follow the enemy spawns and you'll be lead to the other Silver Keycard Door which is already open.

Head through the door and you'll find a medium sized room with two buttons, one button lets you get Secret #3 and the other will open the door to the end of this mission. On the other side of the door you will find some annoying traps, a few will crush you from the ceiling and another set is basically a hamster wheel with boulders and blades inside.

After you finish the hamster wheels you'll find the level's exit - it's a black hole between the rocks here.

 

 

Secret #1

Secret #1: The first secret on this mission is after you enter the mine that collapses as you travel through. On your way down you'll pass by a pipe on the left hand side that follows the wall around a corner. When you enter the cubby in the corner you'll discover the secret, there is a red armor inside.

  

 

Secret #2

Secret #2: After blowing up the explosive box in the mines and destroying the control room completely you can jump onto a bit of broken railing and use that to jump up onto the nearby rocks. Doing this will give you access to a secret area at the top which is all you need to do to get this secret. If you want the reward, step on the button at the top of this rock and then go down to the computers nearby. One of the panels opened up and inside you'll find a Ring of Shadows.

 

Secret #3

Secret #3: When you reach the end portion of the level keep an eye out for the switch in the room with the machinery that's pictured below. Hitting this button will give you a set of stairs to climb and you'll be able to run across the conveyor belts up here to reach the secret. The secret is a +100 Health Crate.
