When the mission begins clear out the enemies in the first big room then fall into the water. Secret #1 requires you to ride the elevator inside the pillar up to the bridge; this "secret" location is also the only way to escape the water if you fall in. Enter the castle in this area and you'll find a fork; press the button on one side and a bridge will appear on the opposite side.
Continue across the bridge to find another room heavily fortified with enemies. There is a button hidden under the 2nd floor walk way; press that to open a door in the same spot on the other side of the room. Go through the new hall to find another room with many enemies, follow the path around the edge of this room and you'll find a drop down with a Biosuit and a Thunderbolt visible.
Drop down, fight some enemies and collect both items. The Thunderbolt is a new and powerful weapon which will come into use later on. For now, shoot both of the buttons in the large room with the acid water and you'll create two platforms. One platform moves from where you're standing to the far end of the room with the new platform. You can jump to the far end of the room if you'd like; or wait for the platform.
If you swim under the platform you just made you'll find a hidden area. This doesn't count as a secret though and it only has a minor amount of ammo, not really worth the time. To advance through this area you'll need to jump to the platform you just made and then use that platform to scale the wall next to it. This will let you reach a new area where you saw an Ogre at earlier.
Follow the linear route in front of you until you reach a dead end with a button. Pressing this button will trap you in a cage and you'll be taken underwater before arriving at a new room. Clear the enemies and go for a swim through the river to reach a new area. In this new area you'll find some Quad Damage in the water across from the locked Gold Key Door.
Go up the stairs across from the locked door and you'll find the Gold Key to unlock it. You should also grab Secret #2 while you're here, this will give you a second Quad Damage to make quick work of the enemies in the final room. When you're ready to complete the level open the locked door with the Gold Key and blast your way to the exit!
Secret #1
Secret #1: The first secret of this level is very easy to find, all you need to do is drop down into the water in the first room and ride the elevator that's inside the pillar back up.
Secret #2
Secret #2: When you're looking at the Gold Key Door turn around and go up the stairs, at the top of the stairs there will be a hallway which turns and leads to the Gold Key. Look at the wall in this hallway, a small section is missing any pattern. Shoot this location to reveal a secret area with a red suit of armor and another Quad Damage.
