Rescue my Family is a side quest that begins in Hilltop - East by speaking with Nora Blake. You'll be approached by Nora when you get near the Blake House in the eastern portion of this map. For this quest Nora asks you to enter her house and to defeat the Kobolds that currently have her family hostage.

On the first floor you'll find Nora's husband who has been defeated by the Kobolds; on the second floor you'll find a Kobold Footpad that you can speak with. He will want you to give him a gem in exchange for Nora's child. There are a few options you can choose from for this part but I typically just give him a gem then attack him.

You can try snatching the baby from him if you have good enough Dexterity but this is a gamble whereas just giving him a gem is not. Either way once you have the baby return it to Nora to complete this quest... Or if you're playing an Evil character you can take the baby to Szaren (the Red Wizard) and give it to him instead.
