Plant the Ultarg Tree Seed - NWN Side Quest (Chapter 3)

Plant the Ultarg Tree Seed is a side quest that begins by speaking with Sapphira in the Creator Race Ruins Garden map. This map is part of the Creator Race Ruins dungeon which you can find to the south of the Fort Ilkard maps. You can find the stairs that lead up to the garden with Sapphira in the center of the Creator Race Ruins.

For this quest you will need to meet Sapphira in the present timeline to start the quest and get the seed then travel back in time 10,000 years to plant the Ultarg Tree Seed. Traveling back in time is part of this dungeon's puzzle and is something you'll have to do to obtain the Words of Power in this dungeon. To travel back in time you'll have to use the Time Crystal that Sapphira gives you on one of the Sun Dials in the Creator Race Ruins. A picture of a Sun Dial is shown below, there are a few of them throughout the map and it doesn't matter which one you use.

Once you're teleported back in time you'll need to go to the same area you met Sapphira and plant the Ultarg Tree Seed that she gives you in the ground. That is all you need to do to complete this quest... But, while you're in the past you will also want to complete the Words of Power quest which is the main thing we're here for.
