Peter and the Wolves - NWN Side Quest (Chapter 2)

Peter and the Wolves is a side quest that begins by speaking with Pete O'Deel outside of his house in the southwestern portion of the South Road map. If you need help locating Peter or his farm use my screenshot above, the map is open in it.

For this quest Peter asks you to go into the nearby caves and take care of the wolf named Silverback that is hunting his cattle. You'll find the cave with Silverback a little bit to the southeast of where Peter's farm is, if you look at the map then the cave is in the south-central portion of it.

Inside the cave you'll find many different wolves but the only one we need to defeat is their pack leader, Silverback.

Silverback will be hostile to you when you first approach her but after you beat the crap out of her she'll stop to talk with you. At this point you'll be given 2 options to finish this quest. You can kill Silverback and loot her head to bring back to Pete O'Deel or you can Persuade Silverback to leave Pete's herd alone and to choose another area for her hunting grounds.

Both of these quest outcomes will give you the same reward so it doesn't matter which you choose. If you choose to kill Silverback make sure you bring her head to Pete as proof - if you let Silverback live you'll have to use Persuade on Pete to convince him that Silverback is no longer a threat. Regardless of your choice the quest will conclude here.
