Aribeth's Tale - NWN Side Quest (Chapter 2)

Aribeth's Tale is a side quest available to male characters only during Chapter 2. You can start this side quest by speaking with Aribeth inside of Kendrack's Barracks and being nice/supportive to her when she talks about her emotions and struggles. If you're hostile or dismissive towards her then you'll fail/not begin this side quest.

This quest works more or less like a Henchman quest in the sense that you'll be able to unlock more of Aribeth's story as your character levels up. Every time you talk to Aribeth you'll need to treat her the same way otherwise she'll end the conversation with you and you won't be able to finish this quest.

For this reason I would recommend you save your game each time prior to talking to Aribeth just incase you mess up and pick something you shouldn't. Though I will say it's pretty obvious what dialogue options you should pick, you're meant to give her emotional support and comfort.

At first Aribeth will talk to you about her scary dreams then she'll tell you her story of becoming a Paladin. Once you learn about how she became a Paladin she'll tell you about her anger involving Fenthick's death. After hearing about her anger surrounding Fenthick's death she'll offer you Aribeth's Ring as proof of your friendship. The quest will end once you've accepted this item from her.
