Never's Tomb - NWN Side Quest (Chapter 1)

Temple of Tyr: Never's Tomb is a quest that begins by speaking with Oleff in one of the side rooms of the Temple of Tyr. In order to get this quest from Oleff you'll have to successfully Persuade him, only then will he open up about the details of this quest. Once you accept the quest Oleff will give you a 'Letter from Oleff' which you'll have to show to Briley in the Peninsula District.

For this quest what you'll have to do is meet up with Briley in the Peninsula District and loot 3 items from the chest next to him. Ceremonial Arrow, Ceremonial Sword and Ceremonial Shield are the 3 items. Each of these items can be used to open a tomb in one of the districts around Neverwinter. Inside each tomb you'll have an item that you'll have to return to Oleff for a reward.

Note: After starting this quest you can speak with Gilles inside the Moonstone Mask (in the City Core). He'll ask you to bring the artifacts to him instead of Oleff for a reward. You can also threaten Gilles for the Jacob's Quill item which you can then return to Oleff for a reward as well.

You can find Briley in the eastern portion of the Peninsula District, he's in an unmarked house which is a tad bit north of the Mizzenmast Mercantile building. A map location of where I am talking about can be found below. Briley will be in the basement area of this building standing next to a chest, as pictured below.

Once you've collected all 3 of the Ceremonial items you need from the Peninsula District it's time to head out and start knocking out these tombs. You can find a tomb in every district except for the Peninsula District (since this is where the quest started). To access each of these tombs you will have to place one of the Ceremonial items into a chest next to the locked door. Doing this will open the door and allow you to raid the tomb and loot the unique item inside.

Below you will find a quick list of where each tomb is and which item you have to put in the chest outside to gain access.

1. Visit Briley in the Peninsula District & collect the Ceremonial Items
2. Use the Shield to access the Beggar's Nest Tomb in the Great Graveyard
3. Use the Arrow to access the Blacklake District Tomb; found in a house on the southern side of the map
4. Use the Sword to access the Docks District Tomb which is found in the Aqueducts

Out of all 3 tombs the hardest one to find (in my opinion) is the one in the Blacklake District. This tomb is hidden in a secret tunnel which you can only access by clicking on the bookshelf and using the phrase, "Halueth". In order to learn this phrase you'll have to speak with Telma inside of the house or with Punkin just outside of the house.

Another thing worth noting about this tomb too is that it's the hardest one. Inside you'll find 4 Swords of Never who will deal very high damage. I recommend you get in and out as quickly as possible and ignore the enemies. Once you've obtained all 3 artifacts you'll want to return to Oleff and turn them in for your reward.
