Enchant Cloak - Greater Resistance Farming Location (Classic - WoTLK)

The Formula for the Enchant Cloak: Greater Resistance only drops from a single enemy in the entire game, an Atal'ai Witch Doctor which is found in Sunken Temple. Atal'ai Witch Doctors are typically between 49 and 51 and they come with one or two other mobs with every pull. What this means is that it's unlikely you can solo them unless you're a class great at soloing or you have great gear.... Or both.

You'll find the Atal'ai Witch Doctor enemies around the upper floors of Sunken Temple as well as in the hallways leading up to them/right under them. The way this dungeon is designed is one giant ring, on the upper most floors you'll find the trolls and just below them are all of the dragon enemies. Below that are the oozes and elementals.

On the first floor of the dungeon, where you enter, as well as throughout all of the hallways you will find trolls in pairs. Across the entire top ring of Sunken Temple the trolls will be in groups of four or more and much more difficult for you to handle. Many times the Atal'ai Witch Doctor enemies will also be accompanied by some little imp enemies that are non elite and very easy to defeat. These little imps drop loot too.

The map above shows you the only location within Sunken Temple that you will find the Atal'ai Witch Doctor trolls. If all you're here for is farming this enchant I would recommend you avoid the troll bosses that drop the shield to Jammal'an, since we have no interest in even fighting him.

In addition to enchant that you'll find here, the enemies will drop a lot of Mageweave Cloth and grays/greens for you to vendor. You'll also have a chance to find some BiS BoE epic loots from this dungeon such as the Edgemaster's Handguards, an item desired by Fury Warriors among other classes for much of Classic WoW.
