Enchant Chest - Major Mana Farming Location (Classic - WoTLK)
The Formula: Enchant Chest - Major Mana drops from the Scarlet Enchanter enemies in Tyr's Hand; the elite area in Eastern Plaguelands. I cover this location indepth on my Tyr's Hand Runecloth Farming Location page, if you'd like to learn more about this location from a different perspective.
As for farming this enchant, the Scarlet Enchanter enemies you need are found in the lower level portion of Tyr's Hand only. This means that you'll want to avoid the chapel and the surrounding area in the eastern most portion of Tyr's Hand. The whole area with enemies 55 and below around the entrance and to the lumber mill in the back is where you'll be hunting.
In addition to the Major Mana enchant the Scarlet Warders here drop the Formula: Enchant Shield - Superior Spirit and much like this enchant, they're the only enemies in the game that drop it. To clear up some confusion now too, Enchant Weapon - Crusader does not drop here. At least not until Burning Crusade, at which point it's added as a drop from the Archmages in the higher level portion.
Inside of Tyr's Hand you'll find some Solid Chests that can spawn in multiple places throughout the compound - outside and inside some of the buildings. I've seen one spawn in the southern most building, outside a shack in the back of the compound and also one inside of the chapel at the eastern most end of the area.
To make things easier, I have included a quick list of all the herbs and mines that you'll find while farming in Tyr's Hand. In my experience the Golden Sansam only spawns up near the chapel in the higher level portion of Tyr's Hand, the rest of the stuff on the list though spawns all over the area.
