Iron Ore Farming at The Cape of Stranglethorn

The Cape of Stranglethorn (or southern Stranglethorn) is another great location for players to farm Iron Ore. I was a little bit skeptical of The Cape of Stranglethorn at first, much like how I was for Feralas since there was only roughly half the zone which had a location for Iron Ore to even spawn. However after experimenting for about an hour or two I found the perfect path for farming Iron here.

I find that it is best to start out at Booty Bay. From here you will want to fly slightly south and to the east to reach the shore line with all of the pirates called Wild Shore. From here you will want to begin the path by heading north. Below is a picture that will show you the exact path that I use for farming.

Follow the beach all the way north until you run out of beach, right around the Crystal Vein Mine. Here you will want to cut northwest, ignore the veins inside the mine and continue west until the Ruins of Jubuwal. From here you will want to drop south. Now you may notice that there are two lines on my map, the blue one is the route that I follow the first time which continues over the naga island to the south and eventually back into Booty Bay. The orange line is the one that I follow the second time around. I find that doing this allows more veins to respawn in each area and also I don't really notice that many veins of a difference between both paths. Once you arrive back in booty bay continue south to restart the path.
