Silk Cloth Farming at Gahrron's Withering

Gahrron's Withering is one of the best locations in Western Plaguelands for farming Silk Cloth. Especially if you have herbalism as one of your two tradeskills. Here you will find roughly a dozen different undead mobs all with a mediocre respawn time. At level 85 I was able to clear the whole field and forced to wait for respawn times but if you actually come here at the level the guide is appropriate for then you won't have to worry about that.

All of the undead mobs here are extremely easy to kill, most of them are casters which means they have virtually no armor which will allow you to plow through them like they're a wet paper bag and you're something...solid... The mobs mostly spawn on the field of Gahrron's Withering and around the scourge machines and broken down buildings on the outskirts of the farm. The eastern most building doesn't have any mobs in it for you to kill, as shown in the video. The southern building though has 3 spawns in it, two on the first floor and one on the second.

As mentioned before, if you have herbalism as a gathering profession you will be in herb-heaven in this area. The farmstead has three spawns of Fadeleaf that I saw as well as Khadgar's Whisker and Kingsblood on the outskirts of the camp. Also if you're a miner the souther part of the farmstead overlooking Darrowmere lake occasionally has an Iron Deposit, or if you're lucky a Gold Vein will spawn on it.
