Lower Blackrock Spire Runecloth Farming (TBC - WoTLK)

Lower Blackrock Spire, more commonly referred to as LBRS is the lower of the two instances that I listed for Runecloth Farming. In Lower Blackrock Spire you will find hundreds of Blackrock Orcs all of which have a great chance of dropping multiple pieces of Runecloth. As seen in the video when clearing all of LBRS I had an entire inventory full of goodies and at least 18 stacks of Runecloth, how can you beat that for 20 minutes of farming? Also in addition to the Runecloth here you will get a lot of level 60 greens which will Disenchant into Illusion Dust and Greater Eternal Essence, both of which sell amazingly well on the Auction House.

If all that wasn't enough LBRS is also the home to the most chests of any instance. The sheer amount of chests you will find in here will blow your mind! Generally a lot of them are locked, which will be no problem if you're a Rogue but will pose a minor problem as any other class. If you know a blacksmith buddy have him make you a few Skeleton Keys for when you farm LBRS so you will be able to open all of the chests (trust me, they're worth it). Assuming you want a ton of Runecloth don't just run through the whole instance dodging all the trash to kill the end boss. Take your time, kill every humanoid you see in LBRS. Nothing shall live in your path!

There are two things I would like to add though, one is if you don't have Mother Smolderweb's vanity pet (the Smolderweb Hatchling that she drops) be sure to loot it! In addition if you don't have the Worg Carrier (Worg Pup vanity pet) be sure to loot that from Quartermaster Zigris. Besides those two notes of information the only other thing I would like to add is if you're only here for Runecloth don't bother looting the small spiders that hatch from the big ones around Mother Smolderweb. They don't really drop anything worth a lot of money and when they do actually drop a green it will only Disenchant into Dream Dust which is practically worthless.
