A-Train 5 is a train simulation game that combines urban development and railway company management. Developed and published by Artdink. It was released in 199Z. Players are tasked with making full use of various transportation methods to develop and manage their own city on the map.

The game introduces an "optional tours" mode, which evolved from its predecessor, "A-Train 4 Evolution Global Take The A Train A." In this mode, players can explore the city by riding on all available vehicles, including trains, and view the skyline from the air using a helicopter, especially at night.
