Headshot Levels 85 - 90

These 5 levels of the Ranger are excruciatingly painful if you enjoy leveling up with Headshot. It gets a lot better at level 89 but until then you are stuck with quite possibly the worst zones ever to Headshot in. At 85 you have Dragonscale Hills which is really annoying and not that good of XP. You also have Lost Gnomes but you have to accept a task each and every time you want to do it as well as have 3 people (1 other with mercs works) in your group in order to even accept the task.

Painfully annoying for the average player as it requires you to inconvience someone else to help you. (Or if you are like me you hate asking other players for help, I've never even completed an epic which can't be solo'd).Which a lot of normal players don't have any friends that play, guildmates or family members. In this case, you're limited to DSH which is lackluster. Your options open up slightly at level 87 where you can do Dreadspire Keep and the Pirates in The Buried Sea. However everything in Dreadspire summons and there are about 20 pirates in The Buried Sea with a 30minute respawn timer.

Once again, these levels come up short with providing you a solid source of experience through Headshot. Out of the two aforementioned locations I recommend Dreadspire Keep. You'll need a merc out at all times to help against the mobs that summon and you won't be able to use any AoE abilities. You can still get a Vinelash off but it may agro through walls. Don't use Hail of Arrows or any PBAoE arrows abilities. Instead use their Focused versions.

Once you are there you will be killing any Humanoid mobs you come across. Orcs, Werewolves, they're all humanoids. Much further in there are human-like mobs inside the keep itself but these are actually Undead Vampires and can not be Headshot. A good tip for when you reach Dreadspire Keep is hang right past the Undead in the first round room you come across. Just hug the right wall, you will still agro two but that is ok. Kill them and hug right out of the room.

From here Dreadspire is pretty straight forward, just kill what you find and melee down whatever can not be headshot. Keep your Mercenary out at all times, you will need help!

The other thing you can do for levels 87 - 90 is the zone known as Oceangreen Village. In Oceangreen Village you will find a large green pylon with about two dozen Bertoxxulian Cultists surrounding it. This Pylon will offer you a great burst of experience since all of the cultists around it are able to be Headshot. While you wait for them to respawn you will have plenty to kill around Oceangreen Village. There are quite a few tasks to be done all of which have a 6 hour cooldown though, that's the only bad part.

Dan Hearthpride - Arms of the Dead

Return 10 Rusted Blade Fragments to Dan Hearthpride. Rusted Blade Fragments are found from the Undead in Oceangreen Village.

If you clear the spire every time it spawns and kill mobs around the spire in the mean time each level should take 2:30 to 3 hours each. It's a long boring grind and they are probably the worst levels possible on a Ranger. That is unless you get
