Black Fire Basin is the Greenskin and Dwarf tier 3 scenario. The type of game played in this scenario is Capture the Flag. Your goal in this scenario is to capture the enemy flag and protect your own. You gain points by capturing the flag and killing enemy players. The first team to reach 500 or the team with the highest points after 15 minutes wins.

Things To Keep In Mind
- Capturing the enemies flag gives you the most points, focus on this over killing them.
- Holding the flag for to long will slow the flag carrier and drain his will to fight.
- Best choice for a flag carrier is a tank.
- You must have possession of your flag to capture the enemies flag.
- There are 3 ways to your enemies flag, The Main Entrance (The Gate), The Side Entrances and The Broken Gate
As with all Capture the Flag games there are really only two basic strategies that can be played. Offense and Defense, with the addition in WAR (Since killing gives points) the dreaded Turtle.
Offense: If you're on offense the objective is to stay together. Rush the flag with everyone and grab it. If they have a lot on defense try to distract them away from the flag as a class with stealth grabs it. Once you have the flag in your possession drop what you're doing and protect the carrier all the way back to the base.
Defense: If you decide to stay on defense then watch the flag at all costs. Don't let anyone even get near it, and if you do kill them as fast as possible. Stay spread out around your base (Unless your melee then stay near the flag) and keep an eye out. Call out which way they're coming from, this will allow your defense to mobilize much faster.
Turtling: This is exactly how it sounds. Have everyone on defense and win simply by killing the enemy.
Tanks: You guessed it, you're the flag carriers for your teams. Your job is to run across the zone and grab the enemies flag and bring it back to your base safe and sound.
Melee DPS: You will be assisting the tanks on offense or hanging back on defense and not allowing anyone who grabs the flag to leave the base.
Ranged DPS: Ranged DPS should almost always go on Offense. It's easier for you to pump out DPS since people won't be running from you and will be more focused on the person picking up their flag.
Healers: Heal Priority is You, Flag Carrier, Other Healers, DPS.
The best Renown and XP here would be winning quickly or Turtling. If you can't win quickly then the kills are far to uncommon to feed you a good amount of Renown, so it would be smarter to just turtle.
