Base Locations for all Oil Nodes - Palworld

Every location I have found in Palworld that's good for harvesting Oil is found on this page. Sakurajima has a bunch of locations that didn't make it onto this list primarily because I didn't want to overcrowd the list with 6+ locations for this one island. Really any spot you see a purple circle on the map for Sakurajima there will be at least 1 or 2 oil nodes there.

Feybreak has a bunch of Oil spots throughout too but most of them only have 1 node. Some of the spots on Feybreak aren't bad for building though if you wanted to make a secondary base there for oil production. You could also pair an oil farming base with a Ranch/Breeding base, really all you need at an oil farming base is a Pal to generate electricity to keep the extractors running... This gives you plenty of wiggle room for the other Pals you have here.

Sakurajima Oil & Mushroom Base Location

This location I am pointing out specifically because it's the only spot you can get two Oil Nodes and some Mushroom trees into a base circle. You can probably get the two coal nodes nearby into the circle too, but they aren't nearly as useful. I wouldn't recommend building an actual base here though because you'll hit the overhead mushrooms that you can't destroy if you go up too far near the mountain wall... but this is an excellent automated resource farm.

 

Sakurajima Oil Nodes & Base Locations

I didn't want to put 5 different locations on this page for Sakurajima so instead I just made one screenshot of all the locations that I feel are good on this island.

 

Sunlit Isle - 3 Crude Oil Nodes

We have two great locations for farming Crude Oil in Palworld, my personal favorite is Sunlit Isle. There is an upper section which will have 3 Crude Oil deposits and a lower section which will have another 3. Your base will only be able to circle 3 at a time so you'll have to choose if you want to be on the upper or lower section.

 

Oasis Isle - 3 Crude Oil Nodes

The second great place to make a Crude Oil farming base is at Oasis Isle; it's found just east of the desert island. Just like with Sunlit Isle there are 3 nodes on a raised platform and 3 nodes on the ground level. When you place a base you're only going to be able to fit 3 in the circle; either the upper nodes or the lower nodes.
