Base Locations for all Logging Nodes - Palworld

You really won't need a reason to harvest wood naturally because you can buy the Logging Site in the Technology tab pretty early in the game. This will let you harvest trees from any base/location you want and will provide you with unlimited lumber. Later in the game some materials will require Hardwood which we can also get from Logging Site II; but there is a spot that is ok for farming it in the real world too.

One material we can't get from a Logging Site but we can get from using our Pals at a base is Mushrooms. There is a mushroom forest in Sakurajima as well as in the blue portion of Feybreak Island. All of the locations on this page were updated/added after the 1.0 release of the game.

 

Sakurajima Oil & Mushroom Base Location

This location I am pointing out specifically because it's the only spot you can get two Oil Nodes and some Mushroom trees into a base circle. You can probably get the two coal nodes nearby into the circle too, but they aren't nearly as useful. I wouldn't recommend building an actual base here though because you'll hit the overhead mushrooms that you can't destroy if you go up too far near the mountain wall... but this is an excellent automated resource farm.

 

Floating Islands 3 Soralite & Hardwood

About two dozen trees that you can harvest for Hardwood and 3 Soralite nodes on this small floating island. This wouldn't be a good spot at all for building, but if you want to harvest these two resources it makes for a great spot. Put down a food bowl and drop a Logging + Mining pal along with everything else they need and let them go to town!
